Abstract

The development and design of an effective, small-size self-diplexing antenna using Microstrip Patch Technology are given in this paper. It is proposed to provide increased isolation, gain, frequency ratio, and miniaturization to meet the demands of modern wireless communication systems. Apart from achieving ideal frequency ratios for different applications, including 5G systems, satellite communication, and radar systems, the design of the antenna allowed the control of two frequency bands in parallel. The build consists of an RT Duroid 5870 substrate, a high-frequency laminate. At 10 GHz, it has a dielectric constant ( ε r ) of 2.33 and a loss tangent (tan δ ) of 0.0012. The antenna is 23 x 37 x 0.787 mm3 in total. This antenna is ideal for satellite and aerospace communication, such as satellite transceivers (4 – 8 GHz), radar applications, and wireless communication systems (30 – 300 GHz). High performance and self-diplexing capabilities for dual-frequency communication applications are confirmed by the findings of the small self-diplexing antenna with an “I” shaped slot on the patch.
