- Abstract
There is a new implementation of text or speech controlled home automation application system using Arduino ATMEGA 328P and HC-05. This project uses a Arduino nano microcontroller and HC 05 Bluetooth module. Instant home and industrial automation such as lights, fans, motors. Arduino controller is a squashed IC designed to control unambiguous functions in embedded systems. So in this project the Arduino controller ATMEGA328 controls lamps, fan, motor wirelessly via HC05 Bluetooth. We can add some features to this project such as temperature and humidity measurement using DHT11, infrared (IR) sensors that can be used to detect people entering and exiting the site. Home appliances should comply with building standards and help reduce energy consumption. Home automation systems use voice commands to control all the lights and devices in your home or office. This article is about a home automation system that will use a smartphone to help each user operate all the devices. The system has three main components: Arduino microcontroller to connect the device, Bluetooth module HC05 for signal transmission and mobile phone to run on Android application. The smartphone Arduino HC05 application which is interacts with Arduino ATMEGA 328P via Bluetooth HC05 and decodes the user’s voice or text commands. The main purpose of system development is to reduce the cost and increase the capacity according to the need. We can control home automation devices easily using HC05 through smart phone. The equipment meets the requirements that facilitate the transportation, installation, setup, operation and maintenance of automatic operators. Home automation involves the initiation of the connection of certain electronic devices used in the home.
