- Abstract
An IoT-based bike transportation safety system aims to enhance the safety and security of rider by leveraging advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The system incorporates various sensors and devices that monitor critical aspects such as bike condition, rider health, and environmental factors. Key features include GPS tracking for real-time location monitoring, collision detection sensors that alert emergency contacts during accidents, and health monitoring through wearable devices that track vital signs. Additionally, the system includes a smart locking mechanism to prevent theft and a mobile application that provides users with real-time data and safety alerts. The collected data can be analyzed to improve safety features and offer personalized recommendations to riders. Overall, this IoT-based system not only helps prevent accidents but also promotes a safer and more secure cycling experience, ultimately contributing to the well-being of cyclists.
