Abstract

Formaldehyde (FA) in food is a hot research topic, it widely exists in many organisms, such as marine products, meat and plant material. As a serious threat to human health, FA of manmade addition in food was forbidden in China. This paper summarized the advance in detection FA in food, and the work in the future was prospected.
