Abstract

Analyzes the carbon emission characteristics of power system before and after the introduction of pumped storage power station. To evaluate the environmental benefits of pumped storage power station combined with new energy peak load. For thermal power, pumped storage - thermal power, wind power - pumped storage - thermal power three different scenarios, establish a systematic method for accounting carbon dioxide emissions, measure the carbon emissions at all stages of the power system, obtain the environmental benefits that can be brought by using the pumped storage energy and verify the wind power and other renewable energy sources have the effect of promoting the reduction in power systems.
