- Abstract
The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Suno has introduced profound transformations in the creative industry. This study investigates how these tools are influencing patterns of job displacement, adaptation, and role redefinition across sectors including graphic design, writing, music production, and visual media. By integrating existing literature with empirical data collected from industrial reports, labor statistics, market data and public interviews with creative professionals, the research aims to identify which job categories are most vulnerable to AI disruption and which are being augmented or reshaped. Initial findings suggest a dual impact: while some routine creative tasks are increasingly automated, new hybrid roles requiring AI fluency and conceptual oversight are emerging. This paper contributes to the ongoing debate about technological unemployment in high-skill sectors and offers policy and educational recommendations to help creative workers future-proof their careers. The results underscore the urgent need to redefine creativity and value in the age of machines that can “create”.
