- Abstract
The Zn₁₋ₓMnₓO(x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.15) diluted magnetic semiconductor powders were repared by hydrothermal synthesis at 220 heated for 24 h using NaOH of 3 mol/L and 5 mol/L as the mineralization agent. It is shown that there had a direct relationship between mineralizer concentration and hydrothermal synthesis, pure Zn0.95Mn0.05O and Zn0.9Mn0.1O crystal could be prepared using NaOH of 3 mol/L, however, the magnetic features of Zn0.9Mn0.1O crystal is so much better than Zn0.95Mn0.05O crystal, which is presented ferromagnetic. Pure Zn0.85Mn0.15O crystal can be synthesized under the condition of 5 mol/L, and the crystal appeared ferromagnetic at room temperature.which indicates that the increase of the concentration of the mineralized agent is beneficial to the doping synthesis.
