- Along with the rapid development of UHV AC/DC interconnected power grid and the construction of the power dispatching data network, the resources allocation capability of power grid in wide area has been enhanced greatly. Now, the power grid operation faces a series of challenges, such as the centralized monitoring level is not high enough, the global decision-making ability is insufficient, dispatching a wide range of ability to optimize the allocation of resources is shortage and lacks of absorptive capacity of new energy. This paper analyzes the demands for SDN of the dispatching data network, discusses the application of the key technology in the new generation power dispatching data network, sets up the experimental environment to verify the adaptability of SDN technology in the new generation power dispatching data network.
