Abstract

Based on the SBM model and the Malmquist-Luenberger index operation, this paper analyzes the regional industrial growth efficiency from static and dynamic aspects. For static efficiency, the overall efficiency of industrial growth in China shows a trend of decreasing from east to west. The pure technical efficiency in the middle is the lowest and the scale efficiency in the west is higher while its overall efficiency is low. The differences within the central provinces are the smartest. For dynamic efficiency, the industrial TFP growth rate is from west to east in the order of high to low and the TFP of different provinces varies greatly.
