- Abstract
This article combines theory and examples, taking specific Chinese film cases as the starting point, and combines globalization theory, cultural discount theory to explore the opportunities and challenges that Chinese films will face in the future. Through typical cases and data support, this article reveals how Chinese films balance localized storytelling and international expression to construct a globally influential Chinese cultural discourse system. This article also briefly describes the development of Chinese cinema from the early 20th to the present, indicating that Chinese cinema is shifting from “symbol output” to “value co construction”. At the same time, in the future, it is necessary to construct a globally influential cultural discourse system through a three-dimensional path of “technology penetrating cultural barriers, IP activating emotional resonance, and policy cultivating industrial ecology”, providing a “Chinese model” reference for cultural output in developing countries.
