- Abstract
In the context of artificial intelligence technology reshaping the global industrial landscape, the financial industry is facing transformational opportunities and risk challenges. This paper takes “performance enhancement - value creation - resource capability” as the analytical framework, integrates the resource-based view and Porter’s competitive advantage theory, and uses grounded theory analysis methods to select typical cases for corpus collection, identification, coding and analysis. The research shows that artificial intelligence is driving the development of China’s banking industry from the perspectives of performance, value and resources. AI technology boosts performance through intelligent risk control (reducing non-performing loan ratio by 2.3 percentage points) and process optimization (shortening credit approval time by 60%); Value creation is achieved by driving bank data assetization (a 40% increase in ESG data utilization), etc. Strengthen resource capabilities by facilitating dynamic capability building, and ultimately form a competitive advantage and advance the digital and intelligent transformation of China’s banking industry.
