Abstract

The qualities of student science literacy skills were still below the standard, one of the reason was the absent of chemistry textbook which provide student to integrate with the development of science in the factual aspect with our daily lives. The research aims to develop chemistry textbook based on science literacy on colloid system. It used development research method with ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data were analysed in descriptive method. The result of this research was the chemistry textbook which were integrated with the indicators of science literacy. It was validated based on suitable content aspect presentation aspect, and language aspect. The result of this research shown that chemistry textbook based on science literacy had Excellent response with 84,90% persentase.
