- Abstract
At present, China has come into a period of modernization and new economy. The industrial transformation and upgrading and the coordinated economic development pattern have undergone significant changes, the output of high-quality technical and skilled personnel has become the first step to deepen the reform. Therefore, the link between education and society development has become closer and closer, and the status of vocational education is constantly improving. However, compared with the establishment of a modern vocational education system, the current vocational specialty setting is outdated and the majors are isolated from each other, which makes students mono-skilled and lack ability to expand and innovate. With diversification extension of the construction industry, the traditional construction engineering majors have been unable to adapt to the changes at the period of construction industry upgrading, and a vocational education specialty group system that is compatible with the construction industry chain has not yet been established. It is a core problem of high vocational education to establish a scientific and reasonable specialty group of construction engineering to suit for the regions and dock with the industry, which should be solved as soon as possible.
