Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Education, Science, and Technology (ICEST 2017)
The 2nd International Conference on Education, Science, and Technology (ICEST) was held at the Pinisi Building of Universitas Negeri Makassar, Makassar, Indonesia, March 11–12, 2017. The 2nd ICEST 2017 provides a forum to bring together a large number of academicians, researchers, and professionals on education, science, and technology to be engaged in knowledge sharing. The conference aims at developing sustainable development goal by making education as main focus to develop community character.
We express our truthful appreciation to Rector of Universitas Negeri Makassar as honorary chair for his support. We merit to the entire Editorial Board who have reviewed the papers. We convey gratitude to all the keynote speakers, steering committee and organizing committee.
We received 150 papers and after rigorous review, 92 papers were accepted. All papers were reviewed based on their relevance with the conference themes. These papers were then divided into 3 groups which are education, science and technology, and social, arts and humanities. Each group has 4 reviewers. Each selected papers were reviewed by 2 persons. The papers were edited by using Grammarly and formatted by using Mendeley. From the accepted papers, 10 papers were selected to be published in international journal and 82 papers are published in international proceeding by Atlantis Press. The participants came from 5 countries. There were 3 (three) sessions consisting of 15 parallel classes, and 5 (five) Keynote Speakers.
It is an honor to present this volume published by Atlantis Press and we sincerely thank all authors for their excited and meaningful role. Lastly, we also state our gratitude for the financial support from the conference sponsors for the success of the 2nd ICEST 2017.
