Abstract

The significance of the learning environment in early childhood education cannot be overstated. It serves as the backdrop against which children explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them. Whether in a formal classroom setting, a childcare center, or the home environment, the surroundings play a crucial role in nurturing children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. we will delve into the importance of the learning environment in early childhood education, exploring its impact on various aspects of child development and learning outcomes. We will examine how the design, organization, and atmosphere of the learning environment can either facilitate or hinder children’s growth and learning experiences. The present investigation employs a qualitative methodology that incorporates a case study approach. In this approach, the researcher restricts their searches to find in-depth and meaningful interactions in the field of early childhood education within the domain of space studies. The process of data collection commenced after selecting the informants, locations, and situations that were expected to provide insights into space studies. The locations chosen for this study comprised two kindergartens, one situated in Trnava, Slovakia, and the other in Gorontalo, Indonesia.
