Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital technology on the formation of character education in inclusive classes at the early childhood education (PAUD) level through the application of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. The study focuses on how integrated technology can help build character values, the roles and responsibilities of school principals and teachers, as well as obstacles in implementing them. A comprehensive literature review was conducted using a Scopus database with carefully selected keywords, then filtered according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Of the 86 initial articles identified, 22 final articles were used for thematic analysis. The results of the review show that technology has the potential to enhance character values, including empathy, independence, and tolerance, especially when contextually adjusted and used by teachers and principals who carry inclusive values. Effective technology integration relies significantly on the following factors: instructional design, teacher competence, principal support, and adequate infrastructure availability. Challenges such as inadequate training, parental resistance, and policy framework restrictions are things that must be overcome. This study contributes to the development of educational technology that is not only instructional but also values- and ethical-oriented. This study recommends the need for a collaborative approach in the development of inclusive and characterful technologies.
