- Abstract
This study aims to identify the needs of Universitas Negeri Makassar students regarding website-based online counseling services. The research employed survey and interview methods, involving 40 students for quantitative analysis and 10 students for in-depth interviews, who were randomly selected from UNM’s Faculty of Education and Graduate Program. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically to explore students’ deeper needs. The research findings indicate a high demand for flexible, anonymous, and responsive services, with key features including counseling session booking, private discussion rooms, and informative articles. This study concludes that developing a website-based counseling platform represents a relevant service adaptation in the digital era, providing solutions to students’ mental health challenges while enhancing their academic and psychological well-being.
