Abstract

Chatbots are a type of technology that has been used in a variety of areas in recent years, especially as the use of online media has become massively. The development of a chatbot application cannot be separated from the usage of server architecture. Because chatbots, in general, require quite complex processing, so the chosen server architecture and components also determining factors in whether or not the chatbot is capable of performing its tasks. This study tries to discuss designing a chatbot using the webhook concept, where the webhook server will only work when there is a message from the user that needs to be replied to. This concept can reduce the server workload, so the server can focus on the chatbot algorithm to be implemented.
