Abstract

Digital or online assessment has been gaining wider acceptance worldwide. Thus, this study examined the relationship of academic achievement towards the use of digital learning solutions for assessment in Mathematics as perceived by the learners. Descriptive– correlational research method was used in this study. Survey- questionnaire and achievement test served as tools in gathering necessary data. A total of one hundred and fifty-four (154) Grade 10 learners of Calaba National High School in Calaba, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija, enrolled in the School Year 2022–2023 served as the respondents in this study. The use of digital learning solutions for assessment in Mathematics as perceived by the learners were all interpreted as high. The learners’ achievement in Mathematics had a very satisfactory performance based on the scores in the achievement test. Furthermore, the use of digital learning solutions for assessment as perceived by the learners is positively correlated with the academic achievement of learners. Learners with high perception and use of digital learning solutions for assessment obtained high scores in the achievement test. This study recommends that teachers may provide learning activities relating to the use of digital learning solutions for assessment in Mathematics to enhance Mathematics learning. Also, teachers’ training programs may integrate the concepts of digital learning solutions for assessment. Further research may be conducted to deepen the study related to the use of digital learning solutions for assessment as perceived by learners and its relationship to the academic achievement of learners in Mathematics.
