The conference is annually organized by Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. We hope through this event we can exchange and explore the issues, innovations, and integrated perspectives toward environmental sustainability. The emergence of science and technology has offered solutions for daily life’s problems in the modern era, including the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic ultimately evolves our life patterns, from how companies work to accomplishing our daily activities while adhering to the health protocols. However, research revealed across the economy, productivity tends to be stable and even more, increase. This happens at the cost of innovations in the science and technology field. Therefore, it is not too much to say that the COVID-19 pandemic makes room for innovations and research in science and technology. Concerning this, we set “Empowering innovative science and technology for future environmental perspective” as the main topic of the 12th International Conference of Green Technology (ICGT). The 12th ICGT has been held on October 26–27 2022. We would like to thank the rector and vice-rectors of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for supporting this event.And thanks to the dean and vice-deans for the guidance and support for this event. Also, for all the committee who helped in the organization of this conference, big thanks to all of you. This conference facilitates the exchange of knowledge on any subject related to math, applied science, bioengineering, computing, engineered materials, energy, and industry applications. It also provides intellectuals from around the world a place to discuss and share their research findings on the research subjects and establish collaborations with others. Additionally, this conference unquestionably helps researchers publish their results more effectively. The scientific community is paying close attention to this conference. The conference has received 128 research-based papers. Within the broad categories of math, applied science, bioengineering, computing, engineered materials, energy, and industry applications, the papers cover a wide range of topics. Thirty-seven papers were selected from the submissions to be published in Atlantis Press. Two referees for each manuscript thoroughly reviewed it, paying particular attention to the format, language, and substance before making their decision. Hopefully, the scientific publications will offer valuable insights into these crucial subjects. Elly Susanti
