Abstract

Brilliant achievements had been made by the Arabs in the fields of medicine, mathematics, art,etc in the Middle Ages, among which specially represented by the Arab-Islamic science and technology. Because of these achievements, the Arabs had taken a leading part in the process of exploring the world scientifically, which not only promoted the prosperity of science, especially medicine and mathematics in the Islamic world, but also awakened the sleeping European thinkers and laid a strong foundation for the Renaissance
