Abstract

This paper will analyze the topic of land annexation in Ancient China using Ming dynasty as an example and further discuss how it played a role in the country economic situation by affecting its revenue taxation. Accordingly, this paper will also address the matter of wealth concentration in modern Chinese society, specifically housing problem, and the role of land resources in the civilian’s basic living in order to investigate housing problem in modern day China.
