Abstract

As two popular sports, bowling and badminton have very different development paths in today’s society. As far as bowling is concerned, although it has been introduced to China for a short time, it has been sought after by many people. However, under the influence of many factors, the development of bowling in China is only a short-lived, and it has begun to decline; for badminton, it may develop. At the beginning, it was not as vigorous as bowling, but as time passed, both the country and the people paid more and more attention to badminton. In addition to cultivating outstanding badminton players to participate in the Olympics and other domestic and foreign competitions, schools and universities also introduced badminton to In physical education courses, even ordinary people will use badminton as a daily exercise item. Under the positive effect of many factors, badminton is bound to be prosperous and shining. Based on the development status of the two, the article compares the rapid decline of bowling and the prosperous badminton from the perspective of social capital.
