Abstract

As an emerging construct, “X Jinggao” is extremely productive. From the theoretical perspective of constructive syntax, this paper believed that the meaning and context appropriateness are of great importance for a whole construction. Taking the construction “X Jinggao” as the object, this paper analyzes and studies the three aspects of its buzzword identity, formation mechanism and context appropriateness, and makes a cognitive explanation.
