Website: http://www.icidit.com We are pleased to present this Proceedings from 2023 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Design and Innovative Technology (ICIDIT 2023). The Conference took place in Chengdu, China, during 4 to 6 August 2023 (virtual event). It is the second Conference of this kind, following the success of last year’s. The Proceedings covers a broad range of topics concerned with research in intelligent design and innovative technology: intelligent control system, industrial products and electromechanical design, intelligent environment design, technological innovation project, innovation service platform, etc. The Conference was organized as usual with keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, and academic investigation, attracting about 100 delegates around the world. The technical programme actually started on the morning of 5 August with keynote speeches by several renowned professors. Among them, Professor Mohd Amri Bin Lajis from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Malaysia, delivered a speech on Sustainable Aluminium Recycling for the Circular Economy. He introduced that they investigated the barriers faced by industry players and policymakers in implementing circular economy principles to aluminium recycling, such as technological challenges, regulatory obstacles, and the need for market incentives. The findings under- scored the relevance of aluminium recycling in the circular economy discourse, positing it as a crucial solution for sustainable resource management. By revealing the intricate links between aluminium recycling and the broader sustainability agenda, this research fostered a deeper understanding of the strategies that can enable a future where resources are endlessly recycled and waste becomes a concept of the past. The Conference was closed with an academic investigation on the afternoon of 6 August. The Conference was indeed very successful! Internationally leading scientists have gathered in the ICIDIT 2023 and have created a stimulating scientific atmosphere for themselves and for the young scientists. ICIDIT 2023 promoted the development and application in the related fields of intelligent design and innovative technology, as well as fostered the industrial cooperation of academic achievements. We would like to thank everyone concerned who contributed to the success of ICIDIT 2023.Wewould like specifically to thank all the speakers, organizers, and the conference secretary, who helped in various ways and contributed in a very significant manner to the success of ICIDIT 2023.
