Website: https://icigr.umsida.ac.id/ It is with great pleasure that we present the proceedings of the International Conference on Intellectuals’ Global Responsibility (ICIGR) 2022. This conference was held virtually on December 14, 2022, through Zoom, and hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The conference aimed to address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on various fields, including humanities, social sciences, education, and business management. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant challenges globally, affecting almost all aspects of society, including the economy, social life, politics, and culture. The conference recognized that finding solutions to the pandemic’s effects is crucial, and research in various scientific fields is necessary to mitigate the impact of the crisis. The conference brought together intellectuals and researchers from Taiwan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia to share their knowledge and expertise in tackling these issues. This proceedings volume contains articles that were peer-reviewed by our distinguished panel of reviewers. Out of 125 total submissions, 89 articles were sent for peer review, and 78 were accepted, reflecting an acceptance rate of 62%. The accepted articles cover a broad range of topics, including humanistic concerns, social welfare, community education, and innovation in social management, among others. We extend our sincere thanks to the invited speakers, Dr. Hidayatulloh (Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, Indonesia), Dr. Tariq Tawfeeq Yousif Alabdullah (University of Basrah, Iraq), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Isha Awang (Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia), Bobur Sobirov, Ph.D. (Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan), Shanina Sharatol Ahmad Shah, Ph.D., (University of Malaya, Malaysia), and Dr. Nurdiansyah, M.Pd. (Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, Indonesia), who shared their valuable insights and expertise with us. We also thank the conference participants who contributed to the fruitful discussions and exchange of ideas. Finally, we hope that this conference and its proceedings will contribute to finding solutions to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and provide insights into the role of science, technology, and innovation in addressing global crises.
