Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Information Technologies in Education and Learning
The first International Conference on Information Technologies in Education and Learning (ICITEL2015) was held during Dec. 19 - 20, 2015 at Hangzhou, P.R.China, in conjunction with ICNDC2015.
When Information Technologies (especial Internet) become widely used, how to use these technologies on Education and Learning comes to hot topics. ICITEL aims to bring together industrial and academic researchers to discuss hot topics and trends on Information Technologies in Education and Learning. ICITEL 2015 focused on innovations or best practices in online teaching, learning, management, andadministration; Internet technology design and use on Education; instruction al models in online courses;online course development and instructional design; interaction in online courses; collaborative learning; usability and evaluation of online environments and portals; online communities of practice; institutionalpolicies, standards and assessment; accessibility standards in online instruction; internationalization andcultural aspects of online classrooms; issues and trends in synchronous, asynchronous, and hybridonline learning.
ICITEL2015 received 130 submissions from all over the world. All submitted papers have to go through a rigorous reviewing process. After rejecting parts of papers in the first round by quick screen, each of the remainder submissions was reviewed by at least two independent reviewers in a standardpeer review process. After rigorous peer review, we finally select 31 papers (acceptance rate 23.8%).
ICITEL2015 is co-sponsored by Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China; Hangzhou Domain Zones Technology Co., Ltd. and SUGON Company. ICITEL 2015 is also technically co-sponsored by Atlantis Press; Tsinghua University, China, Purdue University, USA. Their sponsorships support the success of this conference.
