Abstract

This proposal is conceptual in nature. The proposal will try to identify the current trends of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)'s role in advancing knowledge building into wisdom community. More precisely, the aim of the proposal is to analyse the ICT's role in building wisdom community in Islamic perspective and to see the current application using internet technology. Furthermore, it aims the possibility of adopting newest ICT in developing virtual Islamic wisdom community which so-called e-Islamic World, as well as assessing its positive and negative implications for the Muslims and the society at large.
