Abstract

One of the AEC's vision is to support sustainable high economic growth by increasing trade, investment and employment creation; enhancing regional capacity to respond to global challenges. The aim of this paper to describe and explore the impact of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The Method is comparing economic condition of the ASEAN members between both years, 2014 and 2016. Statistical analysis using bi-plot and Procrustes to measure the similarity between both configurations. Bi-plot analysis map the ASEAN members as object and factor influences the economic conditions as variable. The results of this study shows that changes in the economic conditions of ASEAN members are almost the same before the AEC and thereafter. Procrustes analysis shows that the configuration have a 94.85 % similarity
