Abstract

To realize the goal of sustainable development, higher education must grasp the relationship between science education and humanistic quality-oriented education, and vigorously promote the integration of humanistic education and scientific education. Humanistic quality education is an important part of university education. College English teaching should not only improve students’ language ability, but also inspire and improve the humanistic quality of contemporary college students through the study of English. On the basis of discussing the connotation of humanistic quality, this paper introduces the importance of humanistic quality education to students, analyzes the feasibility of integrating humanistic quality education into college English teaching, and then puts forward how to integrate humanistic quality education into college English teaching.
