Abstract

insulator is an important part of transmission line, and its maintenance of is of great significance. Duo to The insufficiency of traditional way of insulator detection, this paper puts forward a kind of automatic on-line detection method. The sliding carriage which carries a detection device slides along the guide rail smoothly and precisely, the field data is measured reliably. Field practice shows that this technology can increase efficiency and reduce the labor intensity greatly.
