“Globalization and the Challenges of Public Administration Post Covid19 and Intense Geopolitical Competition”

COVID-19 pandemic has caused the global world to make some adjustments in a variety of sectors. Such adjustments demand fast and dynamic changes in both Western and Eastern parts of the world.

The rise and fall of power are expedited not only by the Covid-19 but also by the war between Ukraine and Russia. These two countries represent two opposite sides that have been battling over power where Ukraine has West backup, whereas Russia has close relationship with East countries. The West countries which have hold power over East dramatically lost their power and wealth as well as experiencing the worst economic recession due to Covid-19 and war. This fact has also represent how public administration and governance of countries should direct the geopolitical relationship and development in global world.

The conferencewas attended by more than 500 participants and attracted 200 authors from six countries (Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Myanmar, and Thailand) and various regions across Indonesia. After going through several review processes, 75 papers were received with a “revision required” status. However, only 36 papers were successfully revised and submitted to be published in this proceedings. This process involves 20 reviewers conducting a blind-review approach within of all the assigned manuscripts.
