Website: http://icorcom.umj.ac.id/ The 1st International Conference on Research in Communication and Media is an annual event hosted by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference was held virtually on August 25, 2021, at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. This year (2021) is the first of ICORCOM in collaboration with Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi (ASPIKOM). “Today’s Global Transformation in Communication and Media Studies” has been chosen as the main theme for the conference, with a focus on the latest research and trends, as well as the outlook of the field. Call for paper fields included in ICORCOM 2021 is Media and Communication, Industry and DigitalMedia, Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcasting, and General Issues. The conference invites delegates from across Indonesian and Southeast Asian regions and beyond. It is attended by more than 80 participants from university academics, researchers, practitioners, and professionals across a wide range of industries. We select around 28 papers for proceedings.
