Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Innovation 2020–Health Science and Nursing (ICoSIHSN 2020)

Welcome to the Proceeding of ICoSI 2020 – Health and Nursing. The Fourth International Conference on Sustainable Innovation 2020 has developed this proceeding. This event was held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. It’s a continuous work from the third one in 2019 which already has been published in https://www.atlantis-press.com/proceedings/icosihsn-19

This book is presenting one track from 4 tracks that are composing the ICoS1 2020. The 4th International Conference on Sustainable Innovation 2020 brings out the issues of the Sustainable Development Goals that the world, especially Indonesia, is still striving to face. With the main theme of “Cutting-Edge Innovations on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” this conference is trying to play a role as a vehicle of showcasing scientific works from around the world, not only from researchers, lecturers, government officers, students and all parties with the same interests alike. The event is deliberately put a “Cutting Edge Innovation” as part of the main theme to give a vast opportunity for all in giving and sharing their up-to-date ideas, as a contribution to the program of SDG.

Following the successful story of the the 3rd ICoSI 2019, we are expanding the supporting conference from 9 in the previous event to 14 focal conferences. Those are: ICPU (2nd International Conference on Pharmaceutical Updates), ICOMS (6th International Conference on Management Sciences), ICLAS (9th International Conference on Law and Society), ICMHS (4th International Conference Medical and Health Sciences), ICAF (6th International Conference for Accounting and Finance), ILEC (2nd International Language and Education Conference), ICONURS (2nd International Conference on Nursing), ICITAMEE (International Conference on Information Technology, Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Engineering), IConARD (2nd International Conference of Agribusiness and Rural Development), ICONPO (10th International Conference on Public Organization), ISHERSS (2nd International Symposium on Social Humanities Education and Religious Sciences), DREAM (5th Dental Research and Exhibition Meeting, ICHA (International Conference on Hospital Administration), and ICoSA (3rd International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture).

The Health and Nursing track consist of 4 focal from 14 focal conference in field of health sciences and nursing, those are ICPU (2nd International Conference on Pharmaceutical Updates), ICMHS (4th International Conference Medical and Health Sciences), ICONURS (2nd International Conference on Nursing), DREAM (5th Dental Research and Exhibition Meeting, and ICHA (International Conference on Hospital Administration).

This proceeding book consists of 133 articles, 29 articles are coming from the field of pharmacy, 35 from medical science, 24 articles from the field of nursing, 22 from dentistry and 23 articles from the field of hospital administration.

There are a total of 29 research articles from the field of pharmacy which revolves around the issues of Sustainable Development Goals in this proceeding book. The quality of dental health professionals needs to be improved through the updating clinical practice, sciences professionalism, Research, publication and technology. The Dentist contribution in improving health outcomes through the delivery of Dental services have been widely recognised, and get new challenges in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

DREAM ICOSI 2020, It is an even to face the challenges of pandemic circumstances and globalization in the field of Dentistry. There are a total of 22 research articles from dentist colleageus which revolves around the issues of globalization in dentistry in this proceeding book.

This proceeding book will enrich your knowledge on the latest developments in dentistry research and community science. It was challenging, so we’d like to share this publication research in order to develop this knowledge session in the field of dentistry.

The ICHA 2020 raised the theme “Improving Quality Healthcare Through Universal Health Coverage (UHC)”. The conference is expected to be attended by participants from various fields, namely health, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, medical rehabilitation, biomedicine, health psychology, epidemiology, environmental health and hospital management. The conference will be held as a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas among experts in the field. Participants are expected to get input for research improvement, research collaboration, networking, education and problem solution suggestions in the field of hospital management.

Therefore, as the continuation of the previous ICHA, 5th ICHA 2020 is established in the effort to improve the quality of hospital education and the quality of hospital management in Indonesia, and to provide recommendation for the government in tackling the national and global challenges.
