Website: http://icostelm.org/ We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the first edition of the International Conference on Sustainability in Technological, Environmental, Law, Management, Social and Economic Matters (ICOSTELM 2022). This conference has brought researchers, developers, and practitioners around the world who are leveraging and developing smart grid technology for a smarter and more resilient grid. The theme of ICOSTELM 2022 “The Fields of Applied Science And Technology in Dealing with Sustainability Development Goals”. Aside from the high quality technical paper presentations, the technical program also featured six keynote speeches. The six keynote speeches were 1) Prof. Dr. Juhary Ali from Asia E-University Malaysia, 2) Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, International Balkan University, Skopje, North Macedonia, 3) Prof. Dr. Mohd Sazili Shahibi from Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia, 4) Dr. Reza Ronaldo from STEBI Lampung University, 5) Prof. Dato‘ Sr. Dr. Azimuddin Bahari from Universiti GeomatikaMalaysia (UGM), Malaysia, and Prof. Dr. Zafir Khan Mohamed Makhbul from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The invited talk were presented by Prof. Dr. Simon Grima from Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy, University of Malta, Dr. Abdulla Rasheed Ahmed from Minister of State Ministry of Education, Maldives, Prof. Dr. Ravinder Rena from University of technology ML Sultan Campus, Republic of South Africa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mara Ridhuan Che Abdul Rahman from UKM Graduate School of Business, Malaysia, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Rashidy Razali from UITM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Ismail Bin Haji Omar from Geomatika Campus (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia, and Dr. Cris Kuntadi from Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya Indonesia. Coordination with the steering chairs, Prof. Dr. Hj. Siti Patimah., M.Pd, and Prof. Dr. Mohd Mizan bin Mohammad Aslam was essential for the success of the conference. We sincerely appreciate their constant support and guidance. It was also a great pleasure to work with such an excellent organizing committee team for their hard work in organizing and supporting the conference. In particular, the Technical Program Committee, led by our TPC Chairs, Prof. Dr. Tubagus Ismail, SE, MM, Prof. Dr. Uzair Bazi, and Prof. Dr. Ramona Pirvuwho have completed the peer-review process of technical papers and made a high-quality technical program. We are also grateful to other committee members: Dr. Reza Ronaldo, MM as a Local Chair, Mrs. Femei Purnamasari as Publicity and Social Media Chair, Mrs. Resista Vikaliana as Publications Chair, Muhammad Bani as a Web Chair, and also Mrs. Pertiwi Utami as a Panels Chair, for their support and all the authors who submitted their papers to the ICOSTELM 2022 conference. We strongly believe that ICOSTELM 2022 conference provides a good forum for all researchers, developers, and practitioners to discuss all science and technology aspects that are relevant to smart grids.
