ACTIVATION OF FAK EXPRESSION IN INFLUENCING BONE DENSITY BY EXERCISE TRAINING FOR DECREASIS OSTEOPOROTIC RISK

Abstract

Exercise training is known can increase bone density both for male and female on human and animals. The fact shows that increase bone density mechanism by exercise training up to know is not clear yet. Exercise training in the young is very important because one of the main cause factors of osteoporosis is peak reach of bone density that is not optimal in the young. It can cause bone strength decreasing. This research was carried out to prove the effect of exercise training on increasing FAK expression and it's role in influencing bone density. Methode: Research design used was "The Randomized Posttest only Control Group Design". In this research, the experimental unit was Rattus nurvegus, female in the age of 2,5 months and total number were tweleve. Independent variable of this research was exercise training on moderate intensity, and dependent variables FAK expression and bone alkalin phosfatase. FAK expression bone alkalin phosfatase (BALP) was measured by using ELISA methode. The data was analyzed by using T test and Pearson correlation. Result: The result of this research showed that FAK expression of the exercise training group were higher (853,76) than the control group (726,25) and BLAP of the exercise training were higher (3470,12) than control (4197,00) 0,005 Based on Pearson correlation analysis showed that increasing FAK expression give contribution in increasing bone density via bone marker BALP. The conclusion of this research that exercise training can increased bone density via FAK pathway
