Abstract

PSS2B is a kind of dual-input power system stabilizer which takes rotational speed deviation and electrical power deviation as its inputs. The shaft torsion signal introduced by the rotational speed deviation have an effect on the low frequency signal each other. The interactions affect the parameters setting of PSS2B. The frequency response analysis method and the root locus method are applied to analyze the interaction. On this basis, the parameters of PSS2B are adjusted. Analyze on an actual generator model.
