Abstract

Recently, the term e-voting has often been discussed in Indonesia. This is due to the emergence of the discourse on the implementation of the e-voting system in the Indonesian Presidential Election which will be held in 2019. This e-voting option is used as an alternative solution because the hope of the election can be implemented at a cost that is more affordable, faster and practical. However, before giving support or rejecting the idea, it is better to conduct a study related to how the application of e-voting in several countries and what electronic systems are needed in the implementation of elections in Indonesia.
