Abstract

Indonesian nation that has abundant natural resources, large population with diversity of ethnic, religions, races and groups are actually very potential to become a developed and dignified nation. However, potential resource alone is not enough to be able to deliver the nation of Indonesia into a developed and dignified nation. When viewed, there are some countries that are physically poor for natural resources, and the population is not too large, but can be a developed and respected nation by other nations, such as the state of Singapore, Switzerland, and others. This study aims to find out why Indonesia cannot yet become a developed and dignified nation and to know how to build the character of the Indonesian nation who is heterogeneous.
