- Abstract
Merauke Regency is one of the 29 districts in Papua Province which has the widest area of 44,071km2. But each region has a different pattern of economic growth from other regions. Each of these economic development efforts has the main objective to increase the number and type of employment opportunities through employment opportunities that are opened by companies that make investments that are beneficial to the Merauke district community. The company as an entity of a legal entity has corporate social responsibility, while the purpose of corporate social responsibility as set forth in Article 1 point 3 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies is to improve the quality of life and a beneficial environment. for the Company itself, the local community and society in general. PT CG. Agriculture Development is one of the Foreign Investment / PMA companies headquartered in Merauke Regency. The company is engaged in the cultivation of cassava and processing of tapioca flour industry. The purpose of this study was to find out how corporate social responsibility is implemented by PT CG. Agriculture Development. The results showed that PT CG. Agriculture Development has not fully implemented CSR because in reality there are several companies that have not carried out commercial activities or have not operated in their working area. The implementation of corporate social responsibility is still focused on areas such as social, sports, health and education
