Abstract

In the past, the evaluation of rural development projects focused on economic benefits, which weakened the social benefits of rural development projects. Based on this, this paper puts forward the principle of social benefit evaluation of rural development projects, constructs the evaluation index system, uses analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weight, and advocates that the social benefit of rural development projects should be improved from the aspects of strengthening the care for vulnerable groups, improving the level of public awareness, controlling wastes and harmful substances, etc., which provides practical guidance for the construction of rural development projects and the implementation of subsequent projects.
