Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of the implementation of squat jump weight training exercise to improve the leg muscle power of male volleyball players at UABV UKM State University of Malang. The employed research method was pre-experimental design. The collected data was analyzed using paired sample t-test analysis technique assisted by SPSS. Based on the results of repeated observation t-test between pretest and posttest, it was determined that the value of p = 0.000; thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of squat jump weight training on the leg muscle power of male volleyball players at UABV UKM State University of Malang.
