Abstract

The widespread use of internet brings people into an age of big data. Big data changes people's minds and action, and it also brings opportunities and challenges to the reform of writing teaching for college English. So it is very essential to do an intensive study of the writing teaching for college English. This paper introduces the characteristics of big data, and analyzes the changes that big data bring to writing teaching of college English and at last discusses the effective measures of college English writing reform by using big data. College English writing teachers should make a good preparation for the reform, and improve their application ability in information technology.
