Abstract

Research about an analysis of factors affecting the production of pond business in Tanjung Rejo Village, District Deli Serdang has been done. This research aims to measure and analyze the influence of capital, land area, and work experience on the production of pond business in Tanjung Rejo Village, District Deli Serdang. The methods used are survey methods, field observations and in-depth interviews consisting of primary and secondary data. The variables used are the capital, land area and work experience. The results showed that the higher the capital used, the higher the production of ponds obtained by pond farmers, as well as the area of land. The greater the capital used by farmers for their business, the higher the production obtained by farmers in one harvest. The more land the farmer has, the higher the production produced by pond farmers in one harvest. The work experience is not closely related to the products produced by pond farmers.
