Abstract

After accumulating and developing for thousands of years, traditional Chinese residential decoration has integrated a lot of national traditional elements, being an important part of the treasure house of the Chinese culture. Especially at present, the art design of modern environment tends to add and apply the useful elements of traditional residential decoration to specific designs, making modern environmental art design more colorful. This article summarizes the modern environmental art design, analyzes the relationship between the traditional residential decoration and modern environmental art design, explores the main value of traditional residential decoration in modern environmental art design, and expounds specific strategies for applying traditional residential decoration to the modern environment design.
