Abstract

It is of particular importance to use the limited spectrum resources efficiently since they are non-renewable. The spectrum efficiency can be doubled theoretically with the Co-time Co-frequency Full Duplex (CCFD) technology. Existing research results show that CCFD is achievable under the condition of enough amount of self-interference cancellation. In this paper, we propose a self-interference cancellation method with which antenna separation is combined with analog self-interference cancellation and digital self-interference cancellation. The simulation results show that performance of self-interference cancellation is greatly improved and the interference cancellation ratio (ICR) is nearly 110dB with the proposed method.
