Abstract

In this novel, the author mainly tries to inqire into the relationship between love, art and moral goodness, by relating a very affecting love story. After the protagonist confronts with the tidal rips of love, also with the help of art, he effaces his "ego", begins to attend to the "otherness" of the other people, and meanwhile, is becoming nearer and nerer to the truth of goodness.
