Development of In House Training Module to Improve Basic Teachers ICT Competency

This study aims to develop an In House Training module for elementary school teachers to improve ICT competence. Types of this research was R and D that go through seven stages, namely: research and information gathering, planning, initial product design, design validation, product revision, limited trial, and product revision. The research subjects were teachers at primary school (SDN) 12 Rambutan, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. Data analysis used the Fish Bone diagram, in descriptive form. The final product of the research is an In House Training module entitled “Knowing PowerPoint 2007”. The use of modules as a medium for In House Training is considered to be able to improve teachers’ ICT competence. The module is expected to be used as an independent learning medium in the use of the PowerPoint presentation application along with the use of the internet and the operation of the LCD projector.
