Proceedings of the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Issues (INCOMI 2025)
Conference: International Conference on Multidisciplinary Issues (INCOMI 2025)
Date: 30 October 2025
Location: Jember, Indonesia (Hybrid)
Website: https://konami.fisip.unej.ac.id/ The contemporary global landscape is characterized by increasing complexity and interdependence, demanding a scholarly response that transcends disciplinary boundaries. Building upon a robust foundation of successful national research initiatives and community engagement, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Jember is strategically expanding its intellectual purview to interface directly with the global academic community. This pivot is not merely an extension of existing activities but a formalized commitment to the internationalization of scholarship, recognizing that pressing societal challenges—from governance dynamics to sustainable development—are inherently transnational. This imperative necessitates the elevation of research quality, refinement of methodological approaches, and diversification of collaborative networks with international partners. In direct fulfilment of this strategic objective, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is proud to inaugurate its premier international academic forum: The International Conference on Multidisciplinary Issues (INCOMI). This event signifies a major milestone in the faculty's trajectory, moving beyond domestic discourse to actively contribute to and engage with the global knowledge economy. INCOMI is conceived as a critical platform designed to facilitate rigorous scholarly exchange, catalyze inter-institutional research partnerships, and provide an essential venue for the dissemination of high-impact research findings relevant to the future of governance and society. The inaugural INCOMI, scheduled for October 30, 2025, is anchored by the central theme: “Governing the Future: Collaboration, Innovation, and Sustainability for 2025.” This theme is meticulously chosen to address the nexus of critical issues shaping global socio-political and economic futures. It implicitly acknowledges that effective governance in the 21st century requires a synthetic approach, integrating technological Innovation (e.g., in public service and policy analysis), fostering robust Collaboration (across state, market, and civil society actors), and prioritizing long-term Sustainability (environmental, social, and economic) as foundational pillars of policy-making. The theme invites contributions from disciplines ranging from political science and public administration to sociology, communication studies, and international relations. The multidisciplinary nature of INCOMI is fundamental to its intellectual design. The conference seeks to move beyond isolated disciplinary silos, recognizing that complex problems—such as climate governance, digital citizenship, or democratic resilience—cannot be adequately analyzed or resolved through a singular lens. By encouraging the convergence of diverse methodological and theoretical perspectives, the conference aims to generate novel insights and foster the development of integrated research agendas. This approach ensures that the resulting scholarly output is not only technically sound but also policy-relevant, reflecting a holistic understanding of the issues at hand. All submitted manuscripts have undergone a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and quality. Accepted papers are published in the Advances in Social Science, Education and Humanities Research by Atlantis Press, ensuring that the scholarly outputs of INCOMI 2025 reach a global readership and contribute meaningfully to the academic discourse. We extend our sincere appreciation to all authors for their valuable contributions, to the reviewers for their dedicated and critical evaluations, and to the organizing committee for their tireless efforts in making INCOMI 2025 a success. Our gratitude is also addressed to our distinguished speakers and partners for their involvement and support. It is our hope that the proceedings of INCOMI 2025 will serve not only as a record of academic excellence but also as a source of insight and inspiration for future research, policy formulation, and practical innovation in the fields of economics, management, accounting, and digital business.
