Abstract

The article is devoted to determination of influence of regional factors on probability of default of borrowers of mortgage loans included in the structure of mortgage coverage. The established relationship demonstrates the necessity to take into account re-gional factors both in the process of granting mortgage loans and their further inclusion in the pool of mortgage coverage. Ignoring these influence can lead to increase in risks of mortgage loan pools, and, therefore, of issued bonds.
